(IsraelNN.com) According to a senior physician assigned to a Health Ministry facility in the Givat Shaul neighborhood of the capital, there is more than a fair chance that the smallpox vaccines given to health workers is not effective.

Health Ministry officials reject any allegations that the vaccine is not capable of protecting recipients, adding the same vaccine has been administrated to soldiers and citizens over years and has proven therapeutic. The ministry has instructed the physician to refrain from further investigation into the vaccine.
