A nurse who claims that he was forced to work for ISIS is expected to return home to Australia.
Adam Brookman, a Muslim convert, will be the first person to return from Syria or Iraq after Australia made it illegal to assist militant groups in the Middle East. It is not yet known whether or not he will be arrested upon landing.
Brookman claims that he went to Syria in order to carry out humanitarian work last year, but was forced to work for ISIS.
