Former US Secretary of State Hillary Clinton has made her first on-the-record statement about the current bad blood between the United States and Israel. She stated, "We need to all work together to return the special US-Israel relationship to constructive footing, to get back to basic shared concerns and interests including a two-state solution pursued through direct negotiations between Israelis and Palestinians.”
Clinton is a likely candidate for the 2016 Presidential campaign and is considered more hawkish and more pro-Israel than President Obama.
