A 19-year-old Muslim high school student was arrested in the French capital of Paris on suspicion of issuing threats against the Israeli Consul-General in Marseilles, Barnea Hasid, as well as a Jewish MP in the French parliament, Meir Habib.
According to French media reports, the student sent, via e-mail, video clips of Islamic State beheadings and added, "a similar fate awaits and Israeli diplomat and a Jewish MP."
