While Iran's President Rouhani presents the case for his country at the UN General Assembly, Iranian authorities have confirmed that 26-year-old Reyhaneh Jabbari will be hanged tomorrow at a prison west of Tehran for killing a man she claims was attempting to rape her seven years ago, according to several media outlets.

Jabbari’s mother posted to her Facebook page today that prison authorities informed her that she would have to come to the prison tomorrow to ‘collect the body’.

According to Sharia law, a woman is considered guilty of adultery unless she can provide four adult Muslim male witnesses who watched the incident and will testify that the act was forced upon her.
