The Chief Rabbinate of Israel said, Thursday, that the Asaf Harofeh medical center in Tzrifin, near Tel Aviv, is operating without a valid kosher certificate.
A statement by the rabbinate said the hospital has been operating for about two months without a rabbi to suprvise conditions there. It cited the lack of kashrut certificates in the hospital's kitchen and the various food businesses operating on the premises.
