Today (Sunday) Israel’s Legislative Cabinet will deliberate a proposal made by MK Ofer Shelah (Yesh Atid), according to which doctors would be able to help terminally ill patients end their own lives.
If approved, a terminally ill patient desiring euthanasia would be required to state his intents twice two weeks apart, in the presence of two witnesses.
