Report: Olmert, Dagan and Halutz Form New Company

Former prime minister Ehud Olmert, former Mossad intelligence-service director Meir Dagan and former chief of staff Dan Halutz of the Israel Defense Forces set up a new company called EOC Partners two weeks ago, according to a Sunday report by the Globes business publication. EOC closely resembles Ehud Olmert Consultancy Services Limited, founded by Olmert almost five years ago.

According to the Israeli Corporations Authority, Olmert owns 46% of EOC Partners through Sino-Israel International Ltd. Halutz, a partner in HDBS Enterprises Ltd. with Ofer Dekel and Benny Sheffer, owns 40% of EOC, and Dagan owns 14% through NDN Investments Ltd. Olmert, Halutz and their representatives declined comment on the nature of the business, which is their right, according to the authority, which said there are no limits on its scope. Globes noted that the three principles held their prominent positions at the time of the Second Lebanon War in 2006.
