Treasurer Ya'ir Lapid said, Monday morning, that if there is no diplomatic agreement with the Palestinian Authority (PA), Israel's economic life will be harmed. Interviewed by Israel Defense Forces Radio in the wake of the forecast by United States Secretary of State John Kerry of international boycotts and delegitimization, the Yesh Atid party Chairman said, "The fact is that it will be a serious blow to Israel."

Lapid attacked other ministers for speaking out on the negotiations, saying it weakens Israel opposite the PA and the U.S. He added that it was a traditional mistake of the left to go into talks declaring what it was willing to do and what it was not willing to do, stressing, "We will not give our position ahead of time."
