Chairman Eliyakim Rubinstein of the Central Elections Committee issued an order, Friday, demanding that the Likud say, by noon on Sunday, if it is responsible for a campaign on the Facebook social site, in which unidentified groups, speaking in the plural, attack rabbis of the religious-Zionist stream. The Supreme Court justice demanded that if the Likud is behind the campaign that it stop the campaign immediately.
The ruling came in a petition by Habayit Hayehudi (Jewish Home-New National Religious Party) to stop the campaign. A full ruling is expected following the Likud's response.
