Moshe Feiglin Arrested, Denies Prayer

Moshe Feiglin, the head of Likud’s Jewish Leadership faction, was one of two men arrested Tuesday morning for allegedly praying on the Temple Mount. Feiglin denies having prayed aloud, says Professor Hillel Weiss, who told Arutz Sheva, “He didn’t move his lips, only [prayed] in his heart. It’s a trumped-up charge.”

Professor Weiss saw Feiglin while visiting his son Hagai Weiss, the second detainee. He expressed confidence that the two men would hold up despite the stress of the situation. “Feiglin has experience with much more serious investigations from back when he was in ‘Zo Artzeinu,’” he said.
