Cindy Lee Garcia, an actress who appears in the movie “Innocence of Muslims” which has triggered violent protests in the Arab world, filed a lawsuit on Wednesday against the movie’s creator, Nakoula Basseley Nakoula, for fraud.
Garcia said she was duped by Nakoula, who told her she would be appearing in an ancient Egyptian adventure film called "Desert Warriors." In addition to the claim against Nakoula, Garcia's lawyer has threatened to file another lawsuit against Google for posting the film’s trailer on YouTube.
