Rabbi Eliezer Shlomo Schik of the Breslov Chassidic movement has written a letter encouraging women who support their husbands’ trips to Uman for Rosh Hashannah. A woman who lets her husband travel “will have a greater reward than the husband,” he declared.
“In the end, it is the woman who is the mainstay of the home, and she stays with the children, she sacrifices so that the husband can do as the Breslov Rebbe of blessed memory wished” he added.
