A criminal court in Giza extended, Thursday, the remand of Islam Afifi, the editor of the newspaper Al-Dustour, who is accused of insulting Egyptian President Mohammed Morsi and publishing lies about him.
Afifi is one of a number of journalists who have been charged with such offenses. The beginning of his trial was postponed until the middle of September.
