04/24/2012 Reported News BriefsIyar 2, 5772 , 24/04/12Anti-Mubarak Officials Law Passed in EgyptEgypt’s Supreme Military Council passed on Monday a law that had been approved in parliament and which states that officials of the Mubarak regime will not be allowed to run for public positions. The law, which was originally drafted for the purpose of preventing Omar Suleiman from running for president, was approved after Suleiman had already been disqualified by the Egyptian Elections Committee.
