Tunisia: Seven Years for Caricatures of Muhammad

A Tunisian court sentenced two youths - one in absentia - to seven years in prison, Thursday, for posting caricatures of the prophet Muhammad to their Facebook sites.

According to the Ministry of Justice in Tunis, the two also vilified nationally-known figures on the social network. They were officially convicted of libel, harming morals and disrupting public order.
