Tunisian security forces used tear gas on Sunday to disperse a demonstration by hundreds of Muslims in the capital, Tunis. The tear gas was used after the protesters attacked security forces with clubs, knives and stones.

The demonstrators were protesting the law forbidding women to wear hijab and the fact that women can enroll in local colleges. The protesters also tried to block roads, threw stones at vehicles and shouted, “We will all die for Allah.”
