Egypt to Continue Counter-Terror Op.

Egypt will continue an ongoing counter-terror operation in Sinai, Egyptian officials said Thursday. Operations were briefly interrupted Thursday near the Sinai border as terrorists attacked Israel; Egyptian troops in the area killed two terrorists who fired on Israel from within Sinai.

Officials admitted that Sinai has been in a situation of “anarchy” from a security perspective since the ouster of President Hosni Mubarak.
