Addressing the demands for social justice vocalized in protests across the country Saturday night, MK Tzipi Livni (Kadima) told Channel 10 that "Prime Minister Binyamin Netanyahu is not the solution, he's the problem."

While acknowledging that protesters do not want to hand their struggle over to any political party, Livni said that "at the end of the day, this is a problem that will have to be solved politically."

The opposition leader also called on the prime minister to cancel the Knesset's scheduled summer recess, saying she hopes to see national elections coming soon.
