The Palestinian Authority demanded Tuesday that Israel return any terrorist bodies in its possession. “We want all of them, regardless of their affiliation – a person is a person,” senior PA official Hassan a-Sheikh told Ynet.

Prime Minister Binyamin Netanyahu had planned to transfer the bodies of 84 terrorists to the PA, but Defense Minister Ehud Barak suspended the move, arguing that it would harm Israel's chances of returning Gilad Shalit. He later stated that most bodies would be transferred, but the bodies of suicide terrorists, Hamas members and Gaza residents would remain in Israel.
