Prime Minister Binyamin Netanyahu said Tuesday during his meeting with the Chairman of European Parliament, Jerzy Buzek, that a peace agreement with the Palestinian Authority has not been achieved until now because the PA refuses to accept the Jewish state.

Netanyahu noted that six Israeli prime ministers, including himself, have accepted the two-state solution and some even agreed to painful concessions.

Netanyahu also referred to the PA’s plan to ask for a unilateral recognition of a Palestinian state at the UN and said: “Before we get to September, we need to promote an initiative of 30 countries who will commit to saying no to a unilateral recognition by the UN.”
