The International Court of Justice in the Hague issued international warrants Monday for the arrest of Libyan leader Muammar Qaddafi, charging him with crimes against humanity in the wake of anti-government demonstrations which developed into civil war in his country.
Speculation earlier in the day was that charges would be levelled at senior members of the the Qaddafi regime.
