Several Arab men were seen digging a grave on Tuesday morning near the eastern wall around the Temple Mount. The men were preparing for a burial, despite a Supreme Court order prohibiting burials in the area, which is part of a national heritage site.
The digging was discovered by long-time Jerusalem activist Aryeh King, who often tours majority-Arab neighborhoods in Jerusalem. King said a police officer was present, but refused to intervene to stop the illegal burial plans.
