A soldier in the Givati Brigade was sent to the brig for 30 days after being found guilty of lying to his commanders in order to prevent the uprooting of a Jewish outpost community in Samaria.
The soldier was supposed to deliver eviction orders to commanders of a unit that was supposed to carry out the eviction. He decided not to deliver the orders but told his superiors that he had delivered them. He was put on trial as soon as the truth became apparent.
