Foreign Minister Avigdor Lieberman criticized Prime Minister Binyamin Netanyahu on Monday during a meeting of the Yisrael Beiteinu party, in light of the reports on the appointment of Ron Prosor as Israel's ambassador to the UN.

"Never before has such a massive intervention by the Prime Minister on the appointment of ambassador to the UN been seen," said Lieberman. "With all due respect, all such decisions will be made by the foreign minister."

Lieberman added that he does not intend to appoint Uzi Arad as Israeli ambassador in Britain. "There are enough experienced diplomats in Israel," he said.
