Danny Rosen, the husband of Ahuva Tomer, the police officer who was killed in the Carmel forest fire, said Thursday that he would sue police against Interior Minister Eli Yishai over her death. Rosen accused Yishai of mismanaging the country's firefighting system, to the extent that he caused her death. He said he would donate any money he gets from the suit to a scholarship fund for the children of police.

Rosen, who disrupted Prime Minister Binyamin Netanyahu's speech at a memorial service for the victims of the fire, said in an interview on Israel Radio that he had not intended to disrupt the ceremony, but was unable to help himself when he saw Yishai sitting on the stage.
