The organizers of the annual Gay parade in Toronto, Canada is torn on whether or not to include a group called Queers Against Israeli Apartheid. In May they voted to ban the group from marching, offering to allow them to use alternative, less offensive banners and slogans. Now they have reversed the decision. The parade is scheduled for July 4th. Many residents complained that the Arab-Israeli conflict has nothing to do with homosexuality and lobbied to prevent the group from marching.
