(IsraelNN.com) Jordanian King Abdullah II slammed Israel’s excavations at the Rambam (Mughrabi) Gate on Tuesday.
The Hashemite king accused Israel of attacking sacred Muslim sites in Jerusalem and al-Aksa, calling the excavations “a blatant violation that is not acceptable under any pretext,” according to the Petra news agency.
The work is being carried out as part of a project to strengthen four columns that support the walkway bridge into the main entrance to the Temple Mount.
