(IsraelNN.com) Fifteen Israelis, and not the previously reported number of four, died shortly after receiving a vaccine against the flu, Doctor Amaliah Annis told a conference in Be'er Sheva. All of the victims were around the same age and with different illnesses.
In October, the Health Ministry revealed that four people died after being inoculated. It ordered a halt to the vaccines and then resumed the inoculations after an investigation showed no problems with the medicine.
Dr. Annis said that the additional deaths since November were not publicized. The Health Ministry responded that there was no need to report the deaths because there was no connection between them and the inoculations.
