Sarsour, not Trump, most likely TIME’s person of the year
Sarsour, not Trump, most likely TIME’s person of the year

Back and forth it goes. President Trump says he had it in the bag, but turned it down, so far as being named TIME magazine’s person of the year, 2017.

Never happened, say the magazine’s editors. Trump was never in the running.

Why Trump cares about this in the first place is a mystery. In case he forgot, he was last year’s choice.

Anyway, he is the president for the next four years…and hopefully the next eight years…so what’s the big deal?

I mean, who cares about 2017? It’s been a rotten year. Best forgotten once it’s gone.

Then the fact that nobody reads TIME anymore. That’s Old Media. You read TIME only in the dentist’s office while waiting for your root canal procedure.

Speaking of which – Linda Sarsour.

Now there’s TIME’s most likely pick to represent 2017. She is the picture, the image of everything gone to pot over the past nearly 12 months.

TIME’s editors won’t put it that way of course. They will ascribe to her, this so-called Palestinian American, all the glories of the women’s movement, whatever that is anymore. But they do march for “equality,” of the sort we find in certain Islamic countries where all women are equally put to death for disobedience.

Like forgetting to wear that special veil, which Sarsour never forgets, even though some might say it signifies bondage rather than emancipation.

Sarsour is a leader in all that, and she is front and center in the resistance movement against Trump.

TIME’s editors love that about her. She hates Trump. What more can you ask when you are part of Old Media?

They want open borders and so does she. Bring them all in. Imagine America with millions more like Linda Sarsour?

That’s what they want, in the name of diversity, and that’s what she wants and give them that – to a degree it’s working.

It’s working throughout our college campuses in the form of the Kristallnacht-inspired boycott movement meant to isolate Israel and thereby terrorize Jewish students from one university to the next. That’s BDS. Jewish students and right-leaning Jewish speakers have been hounded ever since Linda Sarsour and people like her came to town.

Old Media are okay with that, too. The few that are not okay with that are marginalized for being “islamophobic.”

In fact, speaking out against Linda Sarsour, that too is called islamophobic…as is Trump’s desire to stop more people like that from coming into the country.

Trump figures we need to re-think an immigration policy that lets everybody in – even people who hate America…or who find America not quite suitable enough.

Or as one of them said all over Facebook, that she feels uncomfortable wearing the hijab with Trump in the White House.

People like that want America re-cast in the image of Linda Sarsour and she’s got another even bigger complaint, yes, of course, Israel. The Jews.

She feels that Israel’s six and a half million Jews pose a threat to the world’s one and a half billion Muslims.

Trump wants refugees out from places like Iran, Libya, Somalia, Syria and Yemen for reasons of safety. They breed terrorists over there. Trump wants America kept safe.

Linda Sarsour wants them in. Those are people with which she feels most comfortable.

That’s one reason Trump won’t get this year’s nod from TIME – but perfect for Linda Sarsour.
