Sherry Mandel lost her 13-year-old son Koby in 2001 in a vicious terrorist attack near the Mandell family home in Tekoa. In an appearance on Tuesday Night Live, Sherry explains how she approaches the tremendous pain of loss and how her family has remembered Koby by establishing the Koby Mandell Foundation and contributing to the Jewish people in other ways.

Sherry also sends a message to Jews around the world, saying that on Memorial Day, “You have to be animated by what you remember. It's not enough just to remember.”
