The Be'er Sheva Magistrates Court has rejected the appeal of two residents of Rahat who were arrested on suspicion of attacking police during a riot that erupted in the northern Negev city on Friday and ordered held until Wednesday. The police representative said at the hearing, "The detainee tried to throw rocks and yelled 'Slaughter the Jews' and the incident could have ended otherwise if the policemen had not acted the way they did."
