The IDF and ISA have eliminated the head of Hamas' antitank division.

In the operation, the IDF, directed by intelligence from the Shin Bet and Military Intelligence Directorate, eliminated terrorist Ibrahim Abu-Maghsib, Head of Hamas’ Anti-Tank Missile Unit in the Central Camps Brigade, in a fighter jet strike based on ISA and IDF intelligence.

Abu-Maghsib directed and executed many antitank attacks on Israeli civilians and IDF forces.

As part of the assistance to ground forces, Israeli Navy forces struck Hamas anti-tank missile launching posts used to attack IDF troops in Gaza.

On Wednesday, after over 10 hours of fighting, the IDF succeeded in taking over a Hamas post. During the operation, the forces eliminated terrorists, confiscated many weapons, and exposed tunnel shafts, including one which was located near a preschool and which led to a wide underground path.
