A new poll examined what support Derech Eretz MKs Yoaz Hendel and Zvi Hauser would receive if they run together with Yamina's MK Matan Kahana.
A quick examination showed that the poll was initiated by Hendel and Hauser themselves, revealing gaps between themselves and Interior Minister Ayelet Shaked, who heads Yamina.
According to Kan Reshet Bet, if Derech Eretz and Yamina do not run together, Hauser and Hendel are considering adding Matan Kahana to their party. In such a situation, Shaked would be left without any of the senior representatives from Religious Zionism, making it difficult for her to garner votes from that sector.
Most of the disagreements between Shaked and Hendel center around Likud leader MK Benjamin Netanyahu and how they will relate to him during the elections. Most of the question relates to whether a united party would sit in a government headed by Netanyahu.
Another question relates to the joint leadership of a united list, if Shaked and Hendel do run together.
