The Cyber Security Unit at the State Prosecution Office filed an indictment letter at the Ashkelon Magistrate's court against Tzvi Sabag, 57, of Ashkelon, for posting death threats on social media against PM Netanyahu, his wife Sara Netanyahu and their son Yair.

According to the indictment, on November 4, 2019, the defendant opened a Facebook account using the name Tzvika Sabag. His profile picture depicted the Prime Minister with a hanging noose around his neck.

Under the "About" category, the defendant wrote: "I can't stand Binyamin, Sara, and Yair Netanyahu and all those who support them." Later in the day, Sabag posted to the account: "Israeli police — let the public know Binyamin, Sara, and Yair Netanyahu's funeral is in the making. Thank you."

In a separate post, he wrote: "He makes me sick. He doesn’t know what he's in for. Yair Netanyahu. If you start feeling sick in the [near future], there's no need to call an ambulance. These are physical signs intended to signal your looming death and passing from this world. The best doctors in the world can't do anything about it. I hope now you understand whom you're dealing with."

"You'll pay dearly for your pride. Everything has its beginning and its 'end,' and in your case this is going to be a very definite end. What are you going to do now? Call the police, tell them someone's threatening your life and ask them to protect you? There's no need for that. I've already let them know and even a million bodyguards can't do anything about it. Your end is near," he proclaimed.
