After this week of security-related issues, Likud gains big-time in a NewsChannelIL poll.

Likud leads comfortably with 35 seats, with Yesh Atid panting to catch up at 18. The Zionist Union would claim only 14 seats were elections to be held today according to this poll, and the Joint Arab List would muster 12 seats.

The rest of the parties break down as follows:

Bayit Yehudi 8
United Torah Judaism 7
Kulanu 6
Yisrael Beytenu 6
Orly Levy 5
Meretz 5
Shas 4

A poll taken one month ago showed a slightly weakened Likud compared with figures from previous weeks and would have won 28 Knesset seats were elections held then.

The Yesh Atid faction received 20 seats in that poll, the Zionist Union won 14 and the Joint Arab List got 12 seats.
