A female Palestinian Authority Arab terrorist failed in her mission Wednesday when she tried to attack an Israeli soldier on duty near Hevron in Judea.
The terrorist, who tried to stab a Border Guard officer working at a checkpoint near the ancient Jewish city of Hevron, was stopped by other Israeli security forces and arrested before she could carry out her mission.
No injuries were reported in the incident.
Border Police foiled a possibly fatal terrorist attack at the Cave of the Patriarchs in late October, also by a knife-wielding PA Arab.
Just four days earlier -- right after the Jewish holiday of Simchat Torah and the end of the seven-day holiday of Sukkot -- another female PA Arab terrorist attempted to stab Jews at the Gush Etzion junction.
The junction, located just 15 minutes north of Kiryat Arba-Hevron and generally filled with students from nearby Har Etzion men's and Migdal Oz women's Torah institutions as well as those from Kiryat Arba , nowadays is constantly guarded by IDF soldiers because it is considered a prime target of PA terrorists.

The mother of 23-year-old Kinneret Mandel, who died in the attack, has demanded in a petition filed in a Petach Tikva court that the three terrorists who murdered her daughter and niece be forced to stay in the country.
All three, who received life sentences for their crimes, were scheduled for freedom in exchange for the release of IDF soldier Gilad Shalit, kidnapped and held captive for six years by the Hamas terrorist rulers of Gaza.
