Wearing T-shirts with the slogan "Efrat is Thawing the Freeze," council heads of Jewish communities in Judea and Samaria gathered at the community of Efrat on Wednesday to pour the cement for the construction of a new synagogue. The act was undertaken in protest of the construction freeze declared by the government.
At the event, Yesha Council Chairman Danny Dayan said: "If we have to pay the price – we will pay it. I have no doubt that we will win this struggle because we have more faith, are more determined, and more righteous."
In the following video of the event, Israel National News asked Dayan whether the act was illegal, and Dayan simply said -- "I couldn't care less."
