Member of Knesset Gabi Ashkenazi, a senior member of the Blue and White Party, has expressed his opposition to the establishment of a minority government with the support of the Joint List of predominantly Arab parties, in closed talks by members of the cockpit - the quartet of the Blue and White leadership - according to Channel 13 News.
However, if such a move is promoted, party sources feel Ashkenazi does not intend to vote against it and prevent the establishment of such a government.
