Foreign Minister Yisrael Katz has responded to threats by an Iranian official to "flatten Tel Aviv", saying "We will not allow Iran to obtain nuclear weapons and if it is the last option we will act militarily. No threat will deter us."
Katz continued, "Israel is not the helpless protesters in Iran and Iraq slaughtered by the Ayatollah regime, and is poised to respond forcefully to any threat or harm. As for Lebanon? Here [Hezbollah leader Hassan] Nasrallah's real face is revealed as a complete Iranian proxy and not as a defender of Lebanon's interests."
