Chief of Staff Aviv Kochavi of the Israel Defense Forces incoming Defense Minister Naftali Bennett on Sunday afternoon to congratulate him on the appointment, saying, "I will do everything so we can succeed in advancing the security goals of the State of Israel together, and together we will meet the common challenges we face."
Thanking the chief of staff, Minister Bennett replied, "I have confidence in the IDF, its commanders and you at their head."
