Police have confirmed a report by Channel 13 News that an investigation has been opened into suspicions that Shlomo Filber, a state witness in one of the corruption cases agains Prime Minister Binyamin Netanyahu, has been harassed.
A police statement said, "The investigation is under the guidance and supervision of the State Prosecutor and with the approval of the Attorney General. Beyond that and due to the nature of things, we will not be able to elaborate on further details from ongoing investigations."
