Jewish Agency Chairman Yitzhak Herzog told Galei Tzahal radio following the shooting in Halle, "We are in an era of dramatic increases in anti-Semitism. The German foreign minister told me that we are on the same front and that they are with us."
Herzog also said, "We have recommended adding 10 million shekels to the security budget in the synagogues, but this idea is raising dust because the government is paralyzed."
