Following a conversation between Prime Minister Binyamin Netanyahu Public Security Minister Gilad Erdan and Acting Police Chief Moti Cohen, it was agreed to allocate additional forces and increase enforcement to continue fighting violence and murder in the Arab sector.
Saying he condemns the phenomenon, Netanyahu called on the Arab public to act responsibly and to cooperate with the authorities in order to bring about a significant change in the situation. He also called on the public to refrain from engaging in any kind of violence while protesting, saying, "All of us must act responsibly and cooperate in order to fight violence."
