Blue and White chair freezes election campaign due to border incident

Chairman Benny Gantz of the Blue and White Party has responded to Hezbollah's firing of anti-tank missiles at Israel Defense Forces vehicles on the northern border by saying, "The Lebanese government needs to know that it will be responsible for any terrorist activity carried out from its territory. We know that the IDF and security forces are up to any challenge and we do not recommend anyone to put us to the test."

Gantz added, "There is no opposition or coalition in any activity against anyone who tries to hurt Israeli citizens or its sovereignty. In light of the security situation, I instructed a freeze on the campaign at this time."
