The Israel Police said, Monday evening, that a suspicious object that led to the blocking of Highway 555 between the Samarian Jewish communities of Itamar and Elon Moreh during the afternoon turned out to be an explosive device made out of a fire extinguisher.
It was discovered by a tracker for the Israel Defense Forces, who secured the area as police sappers dealt with the device, which is being processed as part of the police investigation.
