Dr. Michael Ben Ari of the Otzma Yehudit Party has demanded that Chairwoman Ayelet Shaked of the Yamina Party sue the Haaretz newspaper or resign and hope legal action is not taken against her for interfering in legal proceedings.
Responding to a report that the former justice minister made offers to Prime Minister Binyamin Netanyahu related to corruption allegations against him, Ben Ari explained, "If there was nothing [to the article] sue. If there was [something], it's earth shaking." He also asked why Attorney General Avichai Mandelblit was silent on the matter.
