Chairman Yair Lapid of the Yesh Atid faction in the Blue-and-White Party has welcomed Yisrael Beytenu Chairman Avigdor Lieberman's prediction that his party will force a government led by Blue-and-White and Likud, which received the most votes in the last election and which are leading the polls ahead of the September 17th vote.

Lapid said, "A unity government headed by Blue and White is the right thing for Israel. We need a government that gets up in the morning and acts to deal with the challenges of the country and not with the legal challenges of the prime minister. I'm glad that Liberman has also understood that this is the right thing."
