The Telem faction of the Blue and White Party, headed by Member of Knesset Moshe Yaalon, has attacked the Likud Party for saying that "Yaalon lost it a long time ago," after Yaalon questioned democracy in the Likud, noting that Hamas also has elections.
Accusing Likud of twisting the question into an equation, Telem said "More and more citizens of Israel, many of the real Likudniks, understand that democracy is not just elections." Combining the words for democracy and dictatorship, the faction said that Likud Chairman Binyamin "Bibi" Netanyahu is sacrificing the path of glorious Likud leaders of the path and party values for the benefit of "Bibism" on the path to democtatorship "only to save his skin." The Telem statement concluded, "Blue and White will not allow Israel become Bibistan."
