Chairman Arnon Bar-David of the Histadrut Labor Federation has schedueld an emergency meeting with the heads of the Israel Builders Association on Monday following an accident at a construction site in Yavneh, in which four construction workers lost their lives.
Bar-David said, "This is not a divine decree. The Histadrut has been working for many months on this issue, vis-à-vis the government, and will continue to act to protect the safety of the workers."
